Savory Saturday- Macaroni and Beef

This one is a recipe from Razark's family. I call it homemade hamburger helper but MUCH better! This recipe came from my Father-in-law's Mom who has been gone quite a long time now so we really love having it.

Beef and Macaroni

Brown:

1 onion chopped
1 clove garlic

Add and Brown:
1 lbs ground chuck

Drain excess fat.

Add:

1 can 28oz diced tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
3 1/2 oz cooked macaroni (1 cup dry)
1Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Cook covered 1/2 hour. Uncover and cook until thick.

This is REALLY easy to adapt to your tastes. We add more garlic.... of course. Also, you can double of triple it easily. We never make less than a double batch and we always add extra tomatoes and red wine.
